Erez Schreiber is the Head of Energy and Power Department at Elbit Systems Land and C4I Division, Israel. Appointed by Elbit Systems Corporation at this function since 2009, he founds and leads this new strategic department with a mission to develop and produce cutting edge high power energy storage solutions for both civil and military markets.
At present Elbit Energy, headed by Mr. Schreiber is at the forefront of electrochemical and materials research. The highly skilled R&D team, combined with state-of-the-art facilities for production, characterization, qualification and testing of aqueous-based supercapacitors, allows Elbit Energy to deliver a complete range of energy-efficient storage solutions and develop the next generation of energy storage devices. Following his vast experience in project management, innovation, steering committees and consortiums with industrial and academic partners, currently, among a variety of national and international project and joint ventures regarding electromobility, Mr. Schreiber is also responsible for the foundation, integration and realization of a national pilot for electric urban public transportation (EUPT) in Israel. Erez Schreiber holds a master's degree in electronic engineering from Tel-Aviv University, Israel.
