Mr Joseph P. (Joe) Marushack is president assumed his current role in June 2012, managing a diverse portfolio including the company’s Australian, Indonesian, Malaysian, Chinese, Vietnamese and Qatari assets.

Mr Marushack began his career with Phillips Petroleum Company in 1982 as a staff engineer and went on to hold numerous operating and commercial leadership roles in upstream, refining, treasury and planning groups. In 2000, was named vice president gas development of Phillips Alaska, a position he continued in after the Conoco and Phillips merger in 2002. In early 2007 Mr. Marushack was named president, ConocoPhillips Australia, and in May 2010, he took up the post of of president, ConocoPhillips Canada. There, he managed the company’s conventional and oil sands assets, and the move towards liquids-rich plays and Arctic development.
