Milo Sjardin is Head of the Asia-Pacific for Bloomberg New Energy Finance, based in Singapore. In his current capacity he leads BNEF's research across renewable energy, natural gas, emission markets and smart technologies, overseeing analyst teams across the region with offices in Beijing, Sydney, New Delhi, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Milo is a leading expert in clean energy and carbon markets. Prior to his current role he led BNEF's North American analysis team out of New York and co-founded the Carbon Markets division out of London. He has advised many companies on their clean energy investment strategies and the implications of emissions trading on their business. This has included market entry strategies, investment theses, policy analysis, modeling scenarios and market surveys. Milo has an undergraduate degree in Physics (Honours) and a Masters in Energy and Resources (with distinction) from Utrecht University.
