Dr Peter Lamp has been working with BMW AG, Munich, Germany since 2001. At present he is responsible for research in battery technology including strategy of its integration in future BMW models.

Dr Lamp is a PhD in physics from the Technical University Munich and has about 20 years of experience in basic and applied research, in particular on energy conversion and storage at research institutes as well as industry. His focus for the past 10 years has been on electro-chemical devices from fuel cells to batteries.
