Sharul is a currently the Principal Engineer, Instrument & Control, leading the Instrumentation group for PETRONAS Refinery in East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. He graduated from University of Miami, Coral Gables Florida in 1988 with Bachelor of Science and, later from University of Florida, Gainesville in 1990 with a Master in Engineering.

Sharul has been serving PETRONAS, Malaysia for over 22 years with plant working experience in various Oil, Gas & Petrochemical plants – Natural Gas Transmission Operations Facilities, Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) Plant, and Refinery and Petrochemical (Aromatics) Plant”.
