Suryan has been working in the energy and shipping business for over 20 years and in 2012 was appointed General Manager LNG & Offshore for MOL in Singapore.

Prior to this he headed up the LNG chartering and business development activities for MOL in the Atlantic basin based out London. Before joining MOL he spent over 8 years with BP in London working primary on LNG topics including LNG chartering, ship financing, operations, deal structuring and business development. He also led a team focused on managing the wider shipping portfolio including new projects within BP Shipping. He holds an MBA from the London Business School and graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the Colorado School of Mines.
