Wooi Leong has led several local/international assignments that formulated development strategies, engineering planning & design and advisory to many governments, national agencies, oil & gas companies (national & private) and private developers for large scale refining/petrochemical development in Singapore, China, India, Middle East and Latin America.

Through his deep involvement in the development of Jurong Island Chemicals Hub, he has also been involved in various lead roles involving management, engineering & research development of energy infrastructures, such as underground hydrocarbons rock caverns storage and other underground space developments (for R&D, logistics, port facilities), bulk liquids storage terminals, Very Large Floating Structures, energy logistics, renewable energy and marine related developments. In addition to JURONG Island, he is also involved in advising to national agencies on overseas petrochemical/oil/gas developments clusters in Central Asia and Latin America. Wooi Leong is the Superintending Officer’s Representative for the Jurong Rock cavern project and is concurrently the Vice President (Oil & Gas) of Jurong Consultants.
