Dr. Hezri Adnan is currently director of technology, environment and sustainability at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies Malaysia. His specializes in natural resources governance and sustainable development strategy. A recent writing includes the UNESCAP report entitled Water, Food and Energy Nexus in Asia and the Pacific.

He holds a doctorate in public policy from the Australian National University (ANU) and has been awarded research fellowships by various institutions including the Asian Public Intellectuals Fellowship. He is currently serving as Adjunct Fellow at the Fenner School of Environment and Society, ANU and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
