Ron Oxburgh (Lord Oxburgh of Liverpool) is a geologist/geophysicist who has worked in academia both in the US and the UK, the civil Service and the private sector. As Chairman of Shell he oversaw the merger with Royal Dutch Petroleum to form the current Royal Dutch Shell. He is currently President of the Carbon Capture and Storage Association and chairs several small renewable energy companies. In Singapore he is a member of RIEC and various International Advisory Panels
