Bernard Blez is senior vice-president of CRIGEN R&D Center (Center for Research and Innovation on Gas and New Energies, Paris), the largest ENGIE corporate R&D Center, and is the coordinator of International ENGIE Labs worldwide. He is supervising a large panel of R&D programs on energy and environmental issues : energy efficiency in buildings, city of tomorrow, renewable energies, smart energy grids,  sustainable mobility, high energy efficiency industrial processes.

Bernard Blez is also the President of IDEEL, a public-private R&D Institute for Energy Transition in France, focused on the “Zero Carbon Factory of the Future”. He has 30 years of experience in energy companies, both in Research and Innovation domains and in Marketing & Sales domains.  He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Superieure d'Electricite (Paris).
