Ina Hoxha has worked for top tier companies in public and private finance as well as industry. She has worked for a Development Finance Institution (World Bank Group), an Infrastructure Private Equity, namely, Macquarie Group, and a Wind Energy Company, Vestas Wind A/S.
Ina has worked for the World Bank Group, where she gained extensive experience as a technical adviser to developing country governments – including support to the G20 and OECD sessions on innovative finance. More specifically she was a researcher, analyst and strategist for diagnosing constraints and finding solutions to private sector development in emerging markets in the areas of infrastructure, business enabling environment, innovative and inclusive finance, and brings with her best practices from global experiences in South Asia, Africa and Latin America. She was also a manager of components of financial sector development projects and part of advisory teams enabling emerging market governments, including India, Pakistan, Peru, Central America, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Albania, Nepal and Mauritius. Subsequently, Ms. Hoxha moved to the private finance sector, where she held an Executive role at an infrastructure private equity group at Macquarie Infrastructure Funds, where she was part of the transaction teams in originating, analysing and structuring power deals in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa.
Currently she is a Senior Structured Finance Executive at Vestas Wind A/S, the largest Wind Turbine Manufacturing, Construction, Operation and Maintenance firm in the world, where she leads the global business development and origination efforts in emerging markets, with a particular focus on co-developing wind projects with local Asian developers, and investing Vestas’ own balance sheet, as well as bringing international innovative finance groups into Asia and Africa to invest alongside Vestas.
