Dr Mely Caballero-Anthony is associate professor and head of the Centre for Non-Traditional Security Studies at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is a member of the UN Secretary-General’s Advisory Board on Disarmament Matters and the UN Academic Advisory Council on Mediation and Conflict Prevention. Her research interests are regional security in ASEAN and the Asia Pacific region, conflict prevention and management, and human security.
