Purdue University, USA

Dr. Shweta Singh is an Assistant Professor in Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering and Environmental & Ecological Engineering at Purdue University, USA. Before joining Purdue she held postdoctoral Fellowships with University of Toronto, Canada (2013-2014) and a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship by National Academy of Sciences and US Environmental Protection Agency (2012-2013).

Her research is focused on sustainable engineering and developing system scale models for studying the interactions of engineered systems with ecological systems. Particular focus is on studying the interaction of nitrogen biogeochemical cycle with Input-Output models, biodiversity loss drivers such as nutrient pollution and urban metabolism interaction with carbon, nitrogen and biodiversity loss. She also specializes in Life Cycle Assessment, Industrial Ecology and Applied Statistics.

She is a Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and International Society for Industrial Ecology (ISIE).

Shweta Singh received her Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-BHU, Varanasi, India, Masters in Applied Statistics (MAS) from The Ohio State University, USA and PhD in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University, USA.
