Tor Martin Anfinnsen (b. 1960) joined Statoil in 1991 and has for the past twenty years worked in downstream marketing and trading within Oil and Gas. Mr. Anfinnsen assumed his current position as Senior Vice President on June 1st 2015, following a period where he was Acting Executive Vice President of Marketing, Processing and Renewable Energy reporting to the CEO and part of the Corporate Executive Committee.
In the timeframe 2009-2014, Mr. Anfinnsen was Senior Vice President Manufacturing and Marketing, Oil Trading and Supply, a role including global responsibility of all liquids in Statoil. Prior to this he worked from 1994 until 2009 in numerous senior management positions in Natural Gas, including Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Supply in UK and Germany. His last role in Natural Gas was as Senior Vice President of Trading & Operations, incl. LNG and US marketing which entailed global responsibility of all natural gas molecules.
Before joining Statoil, Mr. Anfinnsen worked for Mobil Exploration Norway and in the financial services industry.
Tor Martin Anfinnsen holds a Business degree, with honours, from Heriot Watt University, in Scotland.
