Dr. BI Yanqiu is the deputy division director of Cooperation Bureau at Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization currently (GEIDCO). She received her master degree and PhD in Shandong University of China. Before joined in State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), she was an associate professor in Shandong University. Her research field involves the distribution automation, fault signal analysis and renewable energy integration in power system. More than 20 academic papers were published in recent years. Besides, she also works on developing international standards and is responsible for the work group chairman of IEEE P1894. In 2015, she was sent to International Energy Agency serving as consultant by SGCC for one year.
