David Hewitt is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Equity Research Division, based in Singapore. He is the Co-head of Global Oil & Gas Research, with primary responsibility for the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining the asset management industry Mr. Hewitt worked in the oil industry for 18 years, initially with Texaco, then Caltex and finally Chevron. He has been based in the Asia Pacific region for more than 15 years, with experience in the upstream, downstream and mid-stream gas sectors of the industry including 5 years leading LNG negotiations in region. David holds an Economics degree from the University of Staffordshire.
