Mr Low Kian Min is responsible for business development in the ASEAN region at Sembcorp Industries.
He brings with him almost two decades of experience in the power industry. At Sembcorp, Mr Low led the company’s expansion into Myanmar with a power project that is set to be one of the largest gas-fired independent power plant in the country. Prior to joining Sembcorp, he was the CEO of PT Paiton Energy – Indonesia’s largest Independent Power Plant, during which he led the development, construction and operation of the 815-megawatt coal-fired Paiton III project. Mr Low had also previously served as Deputy Regional Director (Asia), Head of Business Development (Australia), and General Counsel (Australia) at International Power (now GDF Suez Energy International).
He is a graduate of The Australian National University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree (First Class Honours).
