Dr. Manida Tongroon

Dr. Manida Tongroon has worked for National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Thailand as a researcher since 2010. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1998 and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2002. In 2010, she got her Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at Brunel University, UK. In the year 2011 and 2013, she was an exchange researcher at Waseda University, Tokyo and at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan in 2012. Her researches were dedicated to the utilization of biofuels such as bioethanol and biodiesel in transportation sector. Also, she has worked to promote the use biofuel in Thailand, for instance, the project of “Demonstration Project of Thailand’s First Ethanol Bus (ED95)” and “Innovation on Production and Automobile Utilization of Biofuels from Non-Food Biomass” which is the collaboration between Thailand and Japan.
