Peter du Pont is based in Bangkok and has more than 30 years’ experience developing sustainable energy and climate programs in the U.S. and Asia. He provides strategic and technical oversight for USAID’s programs in the Asia region covering clean energy, adaptation, and sustainable landscapes. Since 1989, he has worked throughout  the  Asia region, in NGO, private and public sector organizations to design and advise on the implementation of clean energy strategies and initiatives. He has a masters degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware.
