Jesus Cristino P. Posadas is a Senior Undersecretary at the Department of Energy since September 2016. He is also the Philippine Senior Official on Energy (SOE) Leader who handles the international affairs on energy and has chaired several international meetings such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Prior to his stint in the Philippine government, he had an outstanding career in the private sector such as a CFO and EVP of Solar Farmers Corporation for four (4) years and consequently became a Consultant on energy efficiency to several firms. He also held several positions in Oil companies during the early years of his career.

He holds a Bachelor in Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of the Philippines and a post graduate degree of Masters of Business Administration from De La Salle Graduate School of Business.
