Partha C. Sarathy

Partha attended Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelors of Engineering Degree, specializing in Controls and Instrumentation Engineering.

After graduation, Partha began his career with Reliance Power in India as a Controls Engineer at their 2 x 250 MW Thermal Power Plant, and moved on to work as Controls and Electrical Engineer in Erection and Commissioning of all LM 6000 Power plants in India at various sites.

In 2002, Partha joined GE Contractual Services as a Resident Engineer in India and has held several roles of increasing responsibilities in Contractual Services over the last 7 years. In October 2010, Partha was promoted to the role of General Manager, Power Generation Services, ASEAN & ANZ Sub Region based in Singapore. He took on the role of Engineering Leader with the formation of Power Services for the Asia Pacific Region, providing technology leadership for the region.

In this current role, Partha is in charge of all Engineering related activities to support Power Services customers on all items related to Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Boilers, Generators, Air Quality Controls Systems as well as Digital solutions in the entire APAC region.

He is responsible for fleet support issue resolution, application engineering, and functional leadership for the Engineering team, which serves as the recognized technology leader in APAC for services engineering with PS, GPO (Global Parts Operation), Sales and Customer base.  He is also in charge of understanding the regional customer needs and market dynamics to define new product offerings, and interface with global Thermal and PS product line teams for NPI (New Product Introduction).
