Mr.PongphatMunkkunk is the director of Bureau of Human Resource Development, which is underthe Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy of the Royal Thai Government. He has devoted decades toward thepromotion of energy conservation in Thailand, especially related to thecapacity building which develops and strengthen the expertise required to conduct energy conservation and energy management in Thailand. His recent works include spearheading thedevelopment of energy efficiency curriculums aimed toward Person Responsible for Energy (PREs) to be used in designated factories and buildings which consume a large amount of energy. Under his leadership, ISO50001 - the energy management system which has been recognized worldwide - has been implemented in Energy Conservation Building in Honor of His Majesty the King and will be disseminated to those in both public and private sectors.

With his expertise in energy conservation, especially regarding policies implementation, Mr.PongphatMunkkunk has been invited as a distinguished speaker, keynote speaker, as well as lecturer for universities to a multitude of audiences with passion toward energy conservation.
