Mr. Rio Jon Piter Silitonga has more than 12 years' experience working on related energy sector ranging from technology practices and numerous policy areas. He has started working in ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) since 2013. He managed the strategy and development of Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) programme to achieve the goals under the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation 2016-2025. Part of his work in energy efficiency is to coordinate with ASEAN Member States, policymakers, international organisations and experts to implement joint programmes and activities to accelerate the deployment and development of EE&C projects in ASEAN. His EE&C expertise covers standard and labeling system, energy management, green building code, finance mechanism and energy service companies (ESCO). This includes study on EE&C best practices, technology assessment on lighting products, gap study on ESCO and EE&C Indicators.
