Chris Robinson is a senior analyst based in Lux Research’s Boston office, advising Global 1000 clients on identifying disruptive emerging technologies and developing strategies to capitalize on them. Chris’s main focus is in the energy sector, where he oversees Lux Research’s coverage of mobility’s impact on the energy sector. His research considers a wide range of technologies and applications including innovative battery and vehicle technologies, supporting infrastructure for future forms of mobility, and how new business models like ride-hailing and car-sharing are shaping the transportation industry. Chris holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, where he conducted research on energy materials as part of the Nanoscale Energy Transport and Conversion Laboratory.
