Dr Tedjar is Engineer in Electrometallurgy, Doctor Engineer in Electrochemistry and PhD in Physical Chemistry (Scientific Polytechnic University of Grenoble, France).

After first experience in Battery industry 5 years in Setif-Algeria), joined University of Grenoble France as Researcher and teacher in battery and sustainability. in 1993 he founded RECUPYL (incubated by University  of Grenoble ). Was President during 20 years and has disseminated the technology in 5 countries over the world.

Dr. Tedjar was also:

  • Expert near The French National Research Agency (ANR) from 2008-2013    
  • Expert near European Commission from 1998.    
  • Expert near Swedish Energy Agency from 2015.    
  • Dr Tedjar is owner of the Concept and brand of Urban MineN°04365044 (FR)

He was author of 65 papers, 12 patents and 58 communications and invited as keynote speaker.

Dr Tedjar received innovation prizes and award including:

  1. First Prize of French Chemical Society for clean electrochemistry (2000)    
  2. First Prize of Clean Technology, French Environment Ministry December 2007,    
  3. Second Prize of Marius LAVET, best innovative engineer of the Year 2007,    
  4. Medal POTIER for lithium resource conservation French Minister of Industry (July 2008)    
  5. Award from European Patent Office for the innovation of the year 2012 (recycling lithium ion batteries with clean process and low CO2 finger print,).
