Jukka Strand works as a Senior Infrastructure Finance Specialist at the World Bank’s Infrastructure, Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and Guarantees Department, based in Singapore. After working at Citigroup in New York, he started his career with World Bank 10 years ago in Washington DC and has worked on a number of advisory and financing operations for transport and energy sector PPPs in frontier and emerging markets.

Recently, Jukka has been developing innovative risk mitigation solutions for solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Africa and energy efficiency investments in East Asia. A financial analyst by training, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds degrees from the London School of Economics and Columbia University.
