Mr Simon Wilson is Senior Vice President of Sembcorp’s Renewables & Environment business and is responsible for driving the Group’s renewables strategy globally.

Mr Wilson has over two decades’ experience in the power, utilities and infrastructure space, spanning strategy, project and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, business and project development, as well as equity platforms. Simon has spent much of this period helping develop and finance new infrastructure projects across the Asian region as well as providing advice to Asian and non-Asian investors for cross-border investments both within Asia and externally. Before joining Sembcorp, he served as Special Advisor to the Nam Theun 2 Power Company in Laos. Prior to that, Mr Wilson worked in Macquarie Capital as Head of Power & Utilities, Asia and in National Australia Bank as Head of Resources, Energy and Utilities, Asia.

Mr Wilson holds an LLB (Honours) degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He also completed exchange programmes at Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok), Sophia University (Tokyo), Nanjing University (Nanjing) and Taiwan University (Taipei).
