Tim moved to KPMG’s Singapore office in November 2012 to build the KPMG Global Energy Institute for Asia Pacific. He leads KPMG’s relationships with large energy companies and interfaces with government, regulators, academia and financial players.
External roles include:
- Board Member since 2018 of the Energy Studies Institute at National University of Singapore
- Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce’s Energy & Utilities Committee since 2016
- Committee member of the Women in Energy, Asia network
- Vice Chairman of the Energy Institute (UK) Singapore branch committee since 2017
Tim joined KPMG in the United Kingdom 21 years ago. From 2000-2009 he was the Global Executive Director of KPMG’s Energy & Natural Resources practice under rapid growth phase; initially based in London. For the past 7 years he leads the KPMG Global Energy Institute Asia Pacific in Singapore covering key countries in the region. From 2005-2012 he operated out of KPMG’s office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, heading KPMG’s relationship with Saudi Aramco and based in Bahrain as Director of KPMG’s Sales & Markets unit in the Middle East and South Asia region.
In his roles with KPMG he coordinated relationships with leading industry bodies such as the World Petroleum Council and KPMG’s patron’s program with the World Energy Council and led KPMG’s participation at their Congresses.
