Aisma Vitina is Special Advisor within the Global Cooperation division of the Danish Energy Agency. Aisma has been leading large-scale RE integration and power system long-term scenario modelling projects in Vietnam, Ukraine and Indonesia, as well as been engaged in the initiation of the government-to-government cooperation activities on offshore wind support in Vietnam, and the development of Input to Roadmap for offshore wind in Vietnam. Aisma has been engaged and leading various projects in Vietnam since 2013, including the development of the first edition of the Vietnam Energy Outlook 2017. Aisma has also been engaged in LCOE analyses, power market design and bid zone analysis as well as socio-economic analyses of the Energy Islands projects in Denmark, combining large-scale offshore wind parks with transmission and international connection assets. Aisma’s experience includes large-scale RE integration, wind technology cost analyses, system reliability analyses and power system long-term scenario modelling projects in Scandinavia, the UK, Mexico, Eastern Africa (12 countries in the EAPP), South Africa, China and Vietnam, among others. Aisma Vitina has been the Danish representative to the IEA Wind Task 26 – Cost of Wind Energy, and is an author and contributor to a number of publications under the auspices of the IEA Wind TCP Task 26. Aisma’s past professional experiences include energy consultancy, FMCG and market research industries and she holds a MSc degree in Economics and Business Administration, specialization on Management of Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment from the Norwegian School of Economics.
