Bert Dalusung has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector with particular focus on renewable energy development, national energy planning and policy formulation. Bert served as Director for Energy Planning in what is now the Department of Energy. During that time, he was involved in pioneering work in geothermal steam pricing, electricity cost structures and transfer pricing, national energy balance reporting and the conduct of nationwide household energy surveys.
Bert is the former President of the Biomass Renewable Energy Alliance and is appointed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as Member of the National Renewable Energy Board representing private developers. He currently serves as Energy Transition Advisor for the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities.
