Lisa Tinschert has been working on sustainable energy development since 2010 with focus areas of renewable energy policy advice, intergovernmental dialogues and private sector cooperation. She is currently the Project Manager of the Indonesia chapter of the regional programme CASE - Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy for South East Asia - and further coordinates GIZ Indonesia’s programmatic energy transition work. Prior to this, Lisa led the UN project “Pathways to Sustainable Energy” where she was instrumental to develop scenarios and policy solutions to achieve SDG7 and the Paris Agreement for countries across Central Asia, Caucasus, Europe and North America. She has spent more than 9 years living in East and Southeast Asia, with notable assignments as Technical Advisor for Renewable Energy for GIZ in China and Viet Nam. Lisa holds a Master degree in Environmental Management, and a Magister in Chinese Studies and Business Administration.
