Excellency Dr. ITH Praing is currently the Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Mines and Energy of the Kingdom of Cambodia. His main responsibility is in the area of leadership, energy policy and development especially in the field of renewable and clean energy. Prior to this appointment, he was the Vice Minister of the former Ministry of Industry since 1984. When the government reform between Ministry of Industry and Handicraft and the Ministry of Mines and Energy, he was appointed as Secretary of State of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). His various experiences in Energy and Electricity management since (1987-present), negotiation on Oil and Gas Exploration agreement, Mineral Resources and Hydrocarbons management. H.E Dr. ITH Praing received his Ph.D in Business Administration from Southern California University for Professional Studies (SCUPS) in 1997.
