Ms Kim Thoa in the last two years works at the PEEB Senior Program Officer at GIZ Office Vietnam and act at her capacity as Project Technical and Policy Adviser to the Ministry.
She has been working alongside a number of Departments, Agencies and Institutes subordinated to Ministry of Construction. In the past 20 years, she also serve at various capacity in providing technical assistance to Ministry of Construction, and Department of Constructions from various City Governments, such as to MOC and Nam Dinh Provincial Department ò Construction on Sustainable Brickmaking Industry; USAID Vietnam Clean Energy Program’s Chief of Party to provide Policy Advisory Service to MOC in formulation of Green Growth Action Plan by Vietnam Ministry of Construction (2017), delegated by the MOC to speak at the APEC Summit in Da Nang June 2018 and facilitating Vietnam Interdepartmental Delegation to Germany in September 2019 for development of the Program on Energy Efficiency in the Building Sector. She also involved deeply in reviewing the Development of Vietnam NDC Roadmap FOR A LOW-CARBON, CLIMATE-RESILIENT BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION SECTOR IN VIETNAM, VISION TO 2050, co-authoring the Feasibility Study on Green Financing to Energy Efficient and Low Emission Housing Market in Vietnam recently and providing instruction to the recent Study on Non-monetary Incentives to promote Energy Efficient and Low emission Housing in Vietnam.”
