Ben leads Société Générale’s energy finance business in South East Asia. His remit extends to arranging financing for both renewable and non-renewable projects in the region, principally for development of large-scale gas to power, hydro-power, geothermal, wind and solar projects, as well as acquisition financing and prepayment schemes.

Ben has 20 years of professional experience in the energy sector in Asia Pacific, the majority of which has been dedicated to financing oil & gas projects in the region, including numerous reserve based finance transactions for independent E&P companies.

Prior to joining Société Générale, Ben led Standard Chartered Bank’s Oil & Gas Finance team in Asia with a focus on structured finance for upstream, FPSO, and LNG projects in the region, including major liquefaction projects such as PNG LNG and Ichthys LNG.

Ben holds a degree in Geology from Imperial College, London and a Post-Graduate Diploma from Aston University, UK.
