Cara has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. She joined EY from one of Australia’s largest electricity distributors (Energex), where she held a number of senior roles, including being a member of Energex’s Full Retail Competition project management team, establishing the team to interface with retailers and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), and representing Energex on executive-level national workgroups.
Since joining EY, Cara has worked for numerous Power & Utilities clients around the world, focussing particularly on electricity generation, retail and distribution clients preparing for energy reform and navigating significant regulatory change. Cara has published numerous pieces of thought leadership and has spoken at national and international energy conferences.
