Dr David Broadstock is a Senior Research Fellow, and the Lead Energy Economist at the Energy Studies Institute, housed within the National University of Singapore.
David is an applied econometrician, meaning that he uses advanced statistical tools to examine topics of interest to economists, and he has researched broadly in the area of energy demand. In this stream of work, David seeks to understand the dynamics, and heterogeneity which exist in energy demand, and the various determinants which drive them.
In addition to the economic description of energy demand by both consumers and producers, David has growing portfolio of research in the areas of carbon pricing and climate finance.
