Dominic Gregory specialises in finance and commercial law. His experience in Asia spans more than 20 years and includes project finance (including project documentation), real estate finance, leveraged finance, sovereign and export credit finance, restructurings and special situations lending, as well as trade and structured finance.
Dominic regularly represents sponsors, borrowers, developers and private equity houses, as well as all types of creditors, including commercial banks, alternative credit providers, export credit agencies and multi-laterals.
Over recent years, Dominic has specialised increasingly in green and sustainable finance. He is a frequent speaker and writer in this area and has represented Asian private equity funds and other clients in connection with their ESG policies and green finance platforms.
Dominic’s project finance experience has covered conventional power, renewables, petrochemicals, oil and gas, (including gas-to-power) and various other infrastructure assets, including data centres, telecoms, road and rail. His renewables experience has covered solar, onshore wind, offshore wind, waste-to-energy, hydropower, geothermal, pumped storage and electrical storage. His real estate finance experience has covered, hotels, resorts, casinos, residential and commercial portfolios and all manner of other transactions across the life-cycle of real estate investments at all levels of the capital structure.
