Mr Fabian Kor is Group Head, Strategy & Corporate Development at Pavilion Energy and a member of the organisation’s Management Committee. Fabian is responsible for Strategic Planning, Corporate Development, M&A/Investments, Upstream/Midstream Projects, Energy Fundamentals and Sustainability. He is part of the Management Committee at Pavilion Energy.
He has a broad range of international experience, bridging the strategy/commercial and operational elements. Fabian was previously a senior member of the Wood Mackenzie Consulting Team. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, he was with Schlumberger in a variety of operational consulting and business development roles.
In his previous positions, Fabian was responsible for leading numerous key strategic projects with Government entities (Energy Ministries and regulators), financial institutions, national oil companies, majors, independents and oilfield service providers. These ranged from strategic reviews/portfolio transformation, market entry, corporate/asset valuations, fiscal advisory/licensing rounds to cost improvement and production optimisation. As part of his roles, he had also led organisational/process design and integration/implementation initiatives.
Fabian is a reserve Military Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces, with the rank of Major.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD, an M.A. in China from Nanyang Technology University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from University College London (UK).
