Jagjeet Sareen is working as the Assistant Director-General, Strategy, at the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Secretariat, in India. At the ISA, he is on secondment from the World Bank. He has been working on global climate change and green finance for over 16 years at MDBs (the World Bank and Asian Development Bank) and UN agencies (UNFCCC secretariat and the Green Climate Fund). He was awarded Chevening Gurukul Fellowship 2020 for Leadership and Excellence by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and hosted by the University of Oxford. He is a member of Chatham House and the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).
