Prior to joining ERI@N in 2015, Liang Mong has spent over 6 years with the local entity of a multi-national electrical company as Energy Efficiency Manager/Consultant, responsible for the energy efficiency and power quality solution offers. During his time with the company, he has provided power quality and energy efficiency solutions to commercial buildings and industrial plants, including hospitals, data canters, pharma and wafer fab plants.

He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and PhD in instrumentation. He was a faculty staff of School of EEE, NTU from 1984-2009. His current interest is in energy analytics and management system, virtual power plant and smart sensor network.
