Mriganka is the regional head of news for Asia, directing commodities news and analysis content across the region. Mriganka joined S&P Global Platts in July 2002 as an oil news editor and reporter. She has done a variety of roles since then. These included running the Asia-Pacific pages of Oilgram News, Platts’ flagship oil news publication; assisting in the launch and management of LNG Daily; and assessing the Asian bunker. Prior to her current role, Mriganka was heading the Asia energy news team.

She holds a Masters degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
