Peter currently serves as Vice President of Sunseap Group, overseeing the group’s Energy Efficiency and R&D arms. His areas of expertise in the Green industry include total building performance, energy performance contracting, energy auditing and green roofs. He is also the Principal Investigator for the EMA-SP Energy Storage System project, and the recently awarded EMA-KETEP floating solar and ESS project. Peter also led Sunseap’s R&D team to the successful execution of an Energy Intelligence project between 2019 and 2020, funded by Enterprise Singapore, that adopts Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to achieve load disaggregation. This patent-pending algorithm allows for Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) and paves the way for real time anomaly detection and predictive maintenance. His current research interests include energy intelligence, energy storage systems, micro/nanogrids and integrated green solutions for data centres.
