Suwanto is the Technical Officer of Power, Fossil Fuel, Alternative Energy and Storage (PFS) Department in ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). He is an energy enthusiast as he has the background in both non-renewable and renewable energy. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Freiburg, Germany, majoring in Sustainable Systems Engineering. Prior to his master’s degree, he was working as a Petroleum Engineer at Chevron Indonesia for around six years. He decided to learn about sustainable energy after the introduction of solar PV application in remote region during his one-year voluntary program.
