Valerie Lee is Head of Corporate Development (Singapore and Southeast Asia) at Sembcorp Industries. She is responsible for business planning, strategy development, strategic communications and marketing for the energy business in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Valerie previously served as General Manager of Sembcorp Power, leading the B2B retail business and Sembcorp’s entry as an electricity retailer under the Open Electricity Market. Ms Lee has also undertaken various operational and commercial roles in utilities, waste management, energy trading and market development.

She has also worked in Singtel where she led the company’s entry into the Singapore consumer electricity market and at SP Digital where she was part of the pioneering team developing digital solutions for commercial buildings.
