Dr Alvin Chew is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the Energy Studies Institute of the National University of Singapore. His research interests span across the wide range of nuclear energy, safety as well as security issues, with particular interest in the developments of Small Modular Reactors (SMR) that can be deployed to the ASEAN region. Alvin is currently with the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies and also works on nuclear non-proliferation issues.
