JD Brannock founded and leads the Energy Storage Development team at Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE), a developer and independent power producer that owns and operates a rapidly growing portfolio of wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States. Prior to joining LRE, Mr. Brannock led Energy Storage Strategy at Invenergy and was a Product Manager at GE Energy Storage. All told he has more than a decade of professional renewable energy experience across solar, wind, and storage technologies. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the Michigan Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of North Carolina.
