Raymond founded Raitan in November 2021 with the vision of accelerating the greenification of the grid and creating a safe and robust battery system for future generations.

Raitan provides turnkey solutions and end-to-end services catering to the entire life cycle of battery systems.

Prior to that, Raymond worked for over 12 years in the defence industry at DSO National Laboratories and ST engineering as an electrical lead, leading Sky Blade 4 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and Mercury-class autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV) for the military. He was also the battery lead in the DSO underwater program, overseeing all the battery systems and co-authored battery system safety standards for DSO.
