Shiv Aggarwal is a renewable energy professional with more than a decade of experience in battery energy storage systems, solar energy, and hybrid systems in the Asia Pacific region, including Southeast Asian countries, Australia, and Taiwan. Shiv’s experience includes optimizing contracting structures, technology advocacy, vendor financing, and creating revenue models. He understands and is familiar with the regulatory frameworks that are necessary to incentivize and implement renewable energy projects in the Asia Pacific region, taking into consideration different economic factors, various financing structures, contractual requirements, and power purchase agreement requirements. Mr. Aggarwal also has experience developing, designing, building, and operating large-scale renewable energy power plants to achieve optimum energy yields and minimize the levelized cost of energy. Mr. Aggarwal leverages his experience to assist developers and independent power producers unlock value for their projects.
Mr. Aggarwal previously worked with companies such as Phoenix Solar and ABB in Singapore, as well as SunEdison Energy and Azure Power in India. He earned a Master of Science degree in Renewable Energy from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kurukshetra University.
