Appointed as President and Member of the Board of State Grid Corporation of China in May 2021.

He has been deeply engaged in power industry for over 30 years, holding several senior executive positions of State Grid including Executive Vice President, Vice President and Head of National Power Dispatching Center.

Prior to his career in headquarters, he served as Head of Zhangjiakou Power Supply Company, Vice Chief Engineer and Head of Dispatching Center of North China Power Company.

He graduated from Tsinghua University with a master degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation.
