Edward Zhao is the Global Vice President at Univers, where he leads the Renewable Energy business in Asia and serves as the General Manager of the Univers Singapore office. With over 25 years of experience in the energy and technology sectors, Edward is a visionary leader dedicated to advancing sustainable innovation and driving the global transition to renewable energy.
At Univers, Edward is at the forefront of market development, product innovation, and strategic partnerships, positioning the company as a key player in the renewable energy landscape. His deep understanding of the energy value chain, combined with expertise in AI, IoT, OT, and ERP technologies, enables him to harness the power of digital transformation to create scalable, sustainable solutions for a greener future.
Prior to joining Univers, Edward held leadership roles at Accenture, where he served as the Technology Consulting and Digital Business Lead for the Resources Unit in China. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale digital transformation projects for global energy and utility giants, including Shell, BP, Total, State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), and China State Grid.
